This is one tough little type of plant that is super low maintenance. There are around 70 different types of Sansevieria and in their natural habitat, you’ll find across Africa, Madagascar, and South Asia.

Caring for Sansevieria

These plants love warmth and bright spaces, however they will cope with a more shaded spot. Over-watering is a big issue and can cause rot to set in, so make sure the soil is well-drained, and we recommended letting it dry out between watering.

Sansevieria

They can flower although it’s unusual in an indoor setting in the UK, but they will purify the air.
