Kids succulent terrarium DIY workshop party
Yesterday we hosted a super special kid’s succulent terrarium DIY workshop party in our London shop. We opted for a simple cylinder shape and all the brightest sands and aggregates we could find.
The kids had a wide array of succulents to choose from for their terrarium plants. We had trays of Echeveria succulents, Crassula succulents and also the odd Cacti which the young guys were very keen to use. The shape of vessel meant that we could put two little succulents into the terrarium.
I’m always so impressed by the bravery of the kids in the terrarium workshops. They don’t hold back and as a result they make the most amazing terrariums. Check out this one below made by Sam. He went layer crazy and mixed a hundred different colours of sands to make his own colour combinations. His attention to detail is amazing! His ability to pour sand all over the floor was equally as amazing, but that’s what the workshops are all about. Getting creative and a little messy in a space where it can be messy.
